Pieces of eight for a good cause
All employees who remember to dress as pirates will be donatin’ £2 o’ their swag to the Harry Mills Charity. Any poxed blaggard who forgets to dress up will be donatin’ £5 o’ booty instead.

Harry Mills was a much-loved local boy who died tragically from meningitis aged just 11. All proceeds from Softcat’s Pirate Day will go directly to Harry's fund to help fight this terrible disease. A grand total of £2,000 was raised for the charity.

This Pirate Day event be a part o’ Softcat’s ongoing charity fundraising for 2012. At the May Ball this year, employees and hearties of Softcat raised £100,000 for the Wooden Spoon Cancer Care and Haematology Unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. Earlier in the year, Softcat also raised more than £15,000 for Sport Relief.
