Independent research:
In 2008 Noden Associates (having been commissioned by Microsoft) published their research findings following an in depth survey of the UK LAR community. The survey took the form of a twenty minute telephone exercise with in excess of 250 Select and Enterprise Agreement customers and covered all aspects of their relationship with their LAR:
The results show above represent: The blue bar = the customers rating of the overall performance of the LAR, and the orange bar = their Net Promoter *level. The line at 59% represents customers satisfaction levels with Microsoft’s own direct sales resources.
Softcat is LAR 13. Noden made the following observation: “It should be noted that only 1 of the 17 LARs (LAR 13) can be considered as ‘excellent’: the other ‘top-tier’ and ‘average’ performing LARs are benefiting from a low benchmark.” We believe there is no better reference for the quality of service on offer from Softcat than the opinion of the customers themselves.
